My First Shop Window
In all good bookshops. That’s the goal. But like all lofty goals, it begins with one humble step. And that step has been taken.
The Amsterdam Good Murder Guide is now available for sale in one excellent bookshop.
I found the Happy Bookieman on the Herengracht in Amsterdam — the very same Herengracht, I should point out, where Wesley Bell comes into contact with Kusal Sivaram — and as soon as I met the owner, Steve, I knew I was in the right place.
Steve is an Amsterdammer — _geboren en getogen_, as they say here — and he is also what you might call a character. I’ll share a couple of interviews with him below so you can see for yourself.
Upshot: whether the books I left in his shop sell or not, I couldn’t be happier with my first bookshop window. I mean, who wouldn’t want this guy to sell their books?
So, if you're in Amsterdam and you're looking for a hard signed copy of tAGMuG, then go see the Happy Bookieman on the Herengracht, number 267A.
Huzzah!
